The Masters 2013

So most of you probably know that the Masters golf tournament is held here in Augusta every year.  Why the most exclusive, beautiful, famous golf event in the world is located in our not-big-city town is beyond me, but it is, and it's pretty awesome.  What's even more awesome?  David and I got to go to the first day of practices rounds this year thanks to a great friend.  The practice rounds are fun because they are more laid back then the tournament days AND you can bring your camera in.  Even if you don't care about golf much, these pictures are pretty to look at at least.

Tom Watson.
THE SOFTEST GRASS EVER CREATED!
Watching the players skip balls across the water at Amen Corner.
The 13th "Azalea" hole.
Bubba Watson & Ricky Fowler.

Watson & Fowler finishing the 18th.
Back of the clubhouse.
Fun side note: all of the food inside was sooooo cheap.
$1.50 for a famous pimento cheese sandwich? Score!
Rory Mcilroy at the practice range.
Jason Day at the practice range.
Mcilroy & Lee Westwood.
I'm so glad we got to go.  There's not much to compare it to, it was like walking through a painting.  And even as someone who doesn't play golf, I know it was a big deal that I got to experience it.  If you ever get the chance, do it!  And then you can stay with us too :)
