Bride to be!

I've never hosted a bridal shower before...heck, i've barely attended many.  That's probably partially due to getting married young, and also having friends all over the country where I can't attend them all.  But I digress.  FORTUNATELY I got to help host a lingerie shower for my beautiful friend Tiffany :)  She's becoming a "Goodson" in less than two weeks and us girls helped her celebrate.  I cooked some yummy things and had friends help decorate and serve as well.

Much fun was had.  

What's going on?

Confession: "What's going on?" makes me think of that Marvin Gaye song, which is now stuck in my head.  When I opened my itunes to listen to that song, I noticed that I have four...FOUR...Marvin Gaye albums...too many? Kinda weird? Oh well.

Sorry for that detour in thought.

Anyway, just wanted to update y'all on what we've been up to out here.   The posts have been scarce because our life has been so jammed packed lately.  Promotion at work (david), grad school projects (me), volunteering (both), looking at houses (crazy!), and much much more like catching up on The Walking Dead and Downton Abbey.  Whew! So here's a photo dump recap.

Well, that's the tip of the iceberg on what's been going on in our household.  I'm hosting a bridal shower this weekend for a sweet friend at church, and will post fun pictures and recipes about that next week :)  Have a joyful rest of the week!
